ANGUSalive Macmillan Cancer Information and Support – Kirriemuir

Cancer information and support service based in libraries across Angus. Offering information booklets, signposting and support.
Support can be delivered by phone, email or face to face. Our weekly drop in session is on Wednesdays 11am-1pm. Service is open to any one who has questions about cancer or are looking for support.

Kirrie Connections

Kirrie Connections is home to Scotland’s first Dementia Meeting Centre.  Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals affected by dementia, and their families and care partners, through providing evidence based local support that puts the focus on living well with dementia.

Our Meeting Centre operates 5 days a week and office hours are 8.30 – 4.30 so please get in touch to find out more about the support we offer.

Kirriemuir Day Care Centre

This service is available for elderly residents within Kirriemuir, surround area and Angus.
 

The centre is open Monday – Saturday, looking to open on a Sunday.

Enabling people to live independently in their own homes longer, for social contact and respite.

Volunteer driver service may be available to people out with the Kirriemuir area.

Open at present Monday to Friday but we are now offering Home Care Services in the Community.

 

Kirriemuir Food Hub

Open to everyone in the community of Kirriemuir (Webster’s Catchment area). We are committed to reducing food waste and food insecurity. Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to fresh produce and food products, simultaneously distributing supermarket food waste and donations through our Community Fridge.

 

Open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am – 2pm, Wednesday 3.30pm – 6pm.
