Brechin Community Football Trust

Brechin Community Club was established in 1972 to provide local children with a safe, organised environment to play football, and became part of the charitable Brechin Community Football Trust in 2019.

The Trust now offers a wide range of male and female football opportunities, from mini-kickers and participation programmes through to youth teams, amateur and Over 35s teams, walking football and adult recreational sessions.

The male pathway includes teams from 2018 to 2008, alongside partnerships with Brechin Victoria JFC and Brechin City FC, helping players progress into senior football.

The club has also developed several successful players, including Scotland international John Souttar, Australia international Harry Souttar and MLS star Ryan Gauld. The female pathway currently provides teams from Under 8s to Under 14s, with ambitions to expand into a full youth and adult programme.
