Our charity shop sells a fantastic range of good quality second-hand items and new goods. We sell a wide range of products from clothing, shoes and accessories to books, music, toys and homewares. We also have greeting cards for all occasions, pin badges and small gifts. By shopping with us you’re helping to fund our life-saving research.

Volunteer in our charity shop

Our shop wouldn’t be able to run without the help of a fantastic volunteer team. Our volunteers help with everything from merchandising on the shop floor and giving great customer service at the till to sorting and pricing the generous donations we are given in the back office.

Whether you have a specific skill or interest or just want to try something new, we have a role for everyone. Find out more about volunteering in our shops.

Donate clothes, books, toys and more

Don’t throw away your unwanted items. Our charity shop needs good quality clothes, bags, shoes, books, CDs, DVDs, toys and more.

Forfar Resource Store

A successful and long-running community enterprise that accepts donations of three-piece suites, beds, white goods and other assorted furniture from the public. Items should be in a decent, reusable condition, and can be dropped off at its Don Street premises (contact details below) or collected from anywhere in Angus.

Donated goods and furniture are sold at very affordable prices, benefiting those on low incomes. The store also has a close relationship with Angus Council, providing starter packs of furniture and household equipment for homeless people who have just taken up unfurnished tenancies.

The Store further provides work opportunities for individuals with community service orders, and from the local open prison, helping with the rehabilitation process.

Forfar Resource Store is open 8am-3pm, Monday to Friday and 10am-2pm on Saturday.
