BEREAVEMENT

Info about national bereavement services

Two people embracing, offering comfort and support in a moment of grief

Cruse Scotland

Cruse Bereavement Care Scotland provides professional support for bereaved adults, children and families across Scotland.

We offer immediate support, information and advice via our national helpline and webchat service; one-to-one counselling and listening; specialist support for children and young people; and group and peer support.

The National Bereavement Helpline is open to anyone in Scotland (adults, children and young people). It is the first point of contact for clients where they can talk in confidence about their grief. Specially trained volunteers listen, provide information and reassurance, and guide clients towards further support and counselling from Cruse Scotland and other organisations. We also train and educate individuals and organisations to help bereaved people.

The Archie Foundation

The Archie Foundation exists to transform experiences and outcomes in healthcare and bereavement for babies, children and families across North Scotland.
